Welcome to my website! I'm Nicholas Jimenez, a prize-winning pianist and piano teacher fluent in all styles of piano, including Jazz and Classical. I hold a master's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Texas at Austin and am currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Music program there as well. With my comprehensive approach, students in my studio learn to develop a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and performance. I provide personalized instruction tailored to their musical goals, whether it's learning a simple tune or becoming a professional musician. Drawing from years of performing and teaching at the highest level, I've developed a focused, patient, and nurturing teaching style. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students of all levels. Lessons
My passion is teaching my students how to create autonomy at the piano. This means enabling them to have for the rest of their life, the ability to learn any song they want, to be able to play it with technical prowess and ease, and above all, to enjoy it and discover the invaluable inner joy that comes with being able to play the piano.
I Offer both online, and in person lessons in Austin, TX Area.

Great emphasis placed on mastery of fundamentals such as being able to read sheet music, learning pieces on your own, and a complete understanding of Music Theory. A tailored approach to each student's unique learning style is procured.

Trained in the Russian School of teaching, Nicholas guarantees his students success and prowess in one's technique at the piano. Mastery and understanding of scales, arpeggios, and more are pursued.
