"Nicholas is such a talented instructor. He works so
well with my son. They learn new music, perfect the songs they're working on, learn music theory, train my son's ear to recognize chords and differences in keys, and so much more. Nicholas is very encouraging and positive while also able to gently challenge my son at the same time. He also has been teaching my son the guitar as well. Nicholas is a very versatile instructor. I highly recommend him. The online instruction has been top notch. They have had a lot of success meeting virtually over Zoom calls."

"My daughter has taken in person lessons with Nicholas for about a year and a half. He is by far the best piano teacher she has had. He is professional, prepared, motivates his students and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him as a piano teacher. Even when we switched to online classes, due to the pandemic, we feel Nicholas is doing as great a job as ever."

"Nick has been a great teacher for my 11th grade son. A year ago he asked for a piano and planned to learn on his own using YouTube videos. When that didn't work out we were fortunate to get him connected with Nic. Nic takes a real interest in the student's success and developing their interest in music. My son is so excited about what he is learning that he decided to take an AP Music Theory class at school this year. Doing the lessons online during COVID has not slowed down his progress at all. "When we moved from DC to California, we searched for a year for a piano instructor so our daughter could continue her lessons. When we found Nick, we knew the time spent was worth the wait.
Of all the instructors my daughter has had on each coast, Nick is hands down her favorite. As a music major, Nick’s knowledge on technique and execution is thorough. My daughter loves that he always adds historical anecdotes about the piece or composer at each lesson. Nick has a natural ability to teach; he is calm and clear. His ability to connect with the student makes the lessons that much more rewarding.
When COVID-19 hit, we had to switch to online instruction with Nick. He didn’t skip a beat. He remains just as engaging and challenging, even through Zoom. As such, it was a no-brained that we would continue online instruction with Nick when we moved yet again. He hasn’t disappointed.
We anticipate having Nick as our daughter’s instructor through the remainder of middle school and high school. We can’t wait to see her continued growth under his tutelage."
